Annual Report 2014

2014 was a year of growth in terms of numbers and variety of clients and impact. Again, all my work came from referrals by existing/past clients, or being asked to come back and do more! As part of my growth, I transformed myself into Meredith Turnbull Coaching and Consulting and got my self a logo.

What I did in 2014:

  • 81 coaching sessions
  • 20 action learning sessions
  • 5 group coaching sessions for leaders
  • 12 training sessions in action learning facilitation
  • 2 workshops on adaptive leadership
  • 6 workshops on leading change
  • 3 workshops on self-care
  • 2 training sessions with young people in facilitation, leadership, consultation and project management skills
  • 2 sessions on social enterprise legal structures
  • 1 workshop on effective communication
  • 3 conference presentations on social sector leadership, management and self care
  • 2 conferences emceed
  • Consulted to 23 organisations on their strategic change initiatives

This resulted in:

  • 36 people trained in action learning facilitation skills
  • 80 social sector people trained in adaptive leadership
  • 100 social sector people trained in leading change
  • 65 social sector people trained in self care and ethical practice
  • 70 young people trained in facilitation, leadership, consultation and project management skills
  • 32 people experienced transformational learning through action learning and group coaching sessions
  • 30 people empowered to make choices about legal structure of their social enterprises
  • 15 social entrepreneurs trained in effective communication.
  • Being the Secretariat for the Social Innovation Enterprise and Entrepreneurial Alliance of Australia (SIEEA)
  • Developed 4 strategic plans with social sector organisations
  • I spent 10% of my time working pro-bono, with the WEFT Shop and The Social Outfit.

Next Year:
2015 looks to be a year of further diversification, with new major projects already lined up in South Africa (action learning), leadership development in the mental health sector (NSW), delivering the core colloquium on Leadership throughout the year for the Macquarie University Global Leadership Program and ongoing action learning with the School for Social Entrepreneurs.
