Coaching / Mentoring

I can provide you with a schedule of professional coaching and/or mentoring services to assist you in setting, maintaining and achieving goals. I do this using proven tools and an effective structure over time. Together, we establish a working relationship, and I provide feedback and advice in order to keep you focused and accountable for your development.

I work from the theory that coaching is an ongoing, interactive, professional relationship. It is a collaborative, solutions-focused, systematic process in which the coach facilitates the enhancement of the work performance and the personal growth of the client.

Mentoring, on the other hand, is a strategy for self-development, career and/or skill development in which the coach offers their knowledge, insight and resources to the client in a collaborative learning process.

Coaching and mentoring can be useful for people who are:
• developing a business or project idea
• developing management or leadership capacities
• managing transitions, and/or
• looking for career development.

In organisations, coaching can be a useful executive team development tool.

For clients who are based overseas or where travel is a barrier, I am happy to conduct coaching sessions via Skype. I’ve successfully managed such client relationships in the past.

Note: Coaching and mentoring is not a substitute for any form of therapeutic service, such as psychological services, counselling, therapy or psychoanalysis. If a client feels that a therapeutic intervention is required, as coach I can provide clients with an appropriate referral to a clinical service.
